I founded LFD in 2019 because I want to see more Latin female referents in design, I know that many have gone far and others are working very hard, that's why I want to create a space in which we creative Latinas are protagonists and we can share our experiences in the industry.
The goal of Latin Female Designers is to gather stories of creative Latin women, to understand what it means to be a Latin woman in the Design industry from the perspective of each role.
It is a project that in addition to giving visibility to the Latin community of creative women seeks to inspire those who wish to enter the industry.
I founded this women in tech community in 2018, aiming to concentrate the female tech force in Uruguay, reaching out to our peers, talking face to face with the IT woman. Understand her from her role as mother, head of household, a woman who projects herself and who started from below, or who has perceived gender inequity in the field.
I lead Dribbble Meetup Montevideo chapter since 2018 with the great joy of being contributing to the local design community.
Design Therapy is the slogan of these meetings in which those who work in design or simply love the discipline, talk about topics related to how we apply processes, techniques, learning from each other, and exchanging ideas and opinions. We all have something to say and we believe that sharing it is better! At each meetup we will be sharing a different topic, we invite you to be part of the Dribbble Montevideo community!
